What made you apply for the grant?

I applied for the Ludovika Scholarship because it offers a unique opportunity to engage with an institution that is a lead in Central and Eastern European studies and public service. The program aligns with my academic and research interests (defence economics), particularly in fostering regional collaboration and interdisciplinary research. Additionally, the chance to exchange knowledge with scholars in my field, deliver public lectures, and explore collaborative opportunities is extremely appealing. I am also drawn to the Ludovika University’s focus on fields like economic and political studies, all of which resonate with my professional pursuits.

What do you expect from the program?

From the program, I expect to gain valuable insights into the research and teaching approaches at LUPS and to exchange ideas with its faculty and students. I also hope to form lasting academic partnerships that could lead to joint research, publication projects, or even visiting teaching opportunities between LUPS and myself. The program will further allow me to contribute to the professional development of students and scholars at LUPS while enhancing my own teaching and research skills through exposure to diverse perspectives and methodologies.

What role does this grant play in your professional career?
