Dr. Miroslav Mitrovic, a distinguished expert in security studies and a specialist in the geopolitics of the Balkans, recently visited the Ludovika University of Public Service (L-UPS), specifically the Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training. His visit was part of the prestigious Ludovika Scholars Program, which aims to foster international academic collaboration and enrich the educational experience of L-UPS students.
During his time at the university, Dr. Mitrovic delivered a series of insightful lectures focused on modern warfare and the strategic importance of the Balkans region. He addressed key topics like hybrid warfare, emphasizing the challenges posed by non-conventional threats such as cyberattacks and misinformation. Additionally, he explored the evolving security dynamics in Southeast Europe and how these influence broader international relations.
His presentations provided students and faculty with a deeper understanding of contemporary military strategies and the shifting nature of global security. The visit not only enhanced the academic discourse at L-UPS but also paved the way for potential future research collaborations between Dr. Mitrovic and the university, solidifying L-UPS's role as a hub for military and security studies.
