Ladislav Hamerlík is a professor of Synecology at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and senior researcher at the Institute of Zoology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. His expertise lies in synecology and limnology.
